Calvert County Fire-Rescue-EMS would like to send our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the Calvert County Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for donating 15 Children’s Comfort Bags and 15 Teen/Adult Comfort Bags.

Comfort Bags are given to individuals who are in/experiencing traumatic situations (abuse, neglect, accident victims, homelessness, disaster, etc.) in an effort to take their minds off the situation at hand. The bags contain items such as coloring books, mini stuffed animals, earphones, dry erase boards/markers, fidgets, Play-Doh, sunglasses, stress balls and more.

The bags will be distributed to all fire-rescue-ems departments for first responders to have on hand in the event they encounter an individual experiencing a crisis situation in Calvert County.
