Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene. In times of disaster, our communities come together to support one another, and we want to make it easy for you to help.

The American Red Cross is actively providing relief and assistance to those affected, and here’s how you can join in:

1. Donate: Financial donations allow the Red Cross to provide immediate relief – including food, water, shelter, and medical assistance. Every dollar counts. Visit the Red Cross Donation Page https://www.redcross.org/donate/dr/hurricane-helene.html/ or text HELENE to 90999 to donate directly.

2. Volunteer: If you can spare two weeks to volunteer, your help is needed! The Red Cross relies on volunteers to assist with sheltering, food distribution, and emotional support. They provide training, lodging and food. Sign up to volunteer here: https://www.redcross.org/volunteer/become-a-volunteer/urgent-need-for-volunteers.html?cid=disaster&med=social&source=arctwitter&campdesc=sep2724

3. Give Blood: Blood donations are critical during disasters. If you're eligible to donate, find a local drive and schedule an appointment here: https://www.redcrossblood.org/

4. Share Information: Even if you can’t donate or volunteer, spreading the word is just as important. Visit the Red Cross for tips on how to stay safe and informed during the hurricane recovery efforts.

For those looking for friends and family in affected areas you can check this link for more information on locating your loved ones who may not have a way to contact you. https://www.redcross.org/get-help/disaster-relief-and-recovery-services/contact-and-locate-loved-ones/hurricane-helene-reunification.html

Together, we can make a meaningful impact on those who need it most. Thank you for your compassion and generosity as we support the victims of Hurricane Helene.
